There is one thing that takes me out of my shyness, something I can talk about for hours and hours on end. That thing is art! As an artist, I have a lot to say. That is why the name of my business is Ruthieonart. Because creativity, color, texture, and the feel of a paintbrush in my hand gives me joyous energy that must be expressed.
The name Ruthonart also refers to being a teacher who gives my perspective on all things art and creative. It points to my desire to write about art, faith, and culture.
Put me in a garden, seat me at a table with good food, family and friends,
or let me travel to some beautiful place and I will be content,
but I will also most likely want to paint what I encounter.
